While the schedules look pretty intense, we will give the kids breaks for snacks and time to enjoy some sun and just generally be kids.  For the morning dryland training our resident fitness expert Kyle L'Ariviere will introduce the kids to different age-appropriate work outs that challenge the players but also mix in team games. In the afternoons we will take advantage of the available green space to play soccer, flag football, relay races, capture the flag, dodge ball and other games.  In the event of extreme weather, we will look to use the indoor space available to do some group workouts, stretching and yoga, as well as competing in team fitness challenges.

On-ice activities will include a mix of skills, power skating, small area games and full ice fun.  Time allocated to be spent for chalk talk and video will cover a variety of activities going over hockey terminology, rink drawing, hockey trivia, and educational videos.

Camp attendees are asked to bring appropriate gym attire (shorts, t-shirts, sneakers), a healthy lunch, sunscreen, bug repellent, a water bottle, and a hat. Each day, we will award the hardest working skater with a player of the day hat, t-shirt or mini stick. The cost of the camp is $399 plus GST (total of $418.95) and includes a jersey.  We will cap the group sizes at 21 skaters to maintain an adequate skater to instructor ratio of a maximum of 7:1.
