After finishing his career in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars "Belts" went on to pursue his teaching degree from the University of Alberta. He currently teaches Physical Education, Sport Performance and Health at St. Elizabeth Seton. Along his journey he has spent time helping young athletes as a coach with SSAC, Mount Carmel and St. Edmund's hockey academy's.
