Camp 3 - (Winter) Fundamentals Spring 3on3 and Skills (U15: 2010 and 2011 birth years)

Fundamentals Spring 3on3 and Skills (U15: 2010 and 2011 birth years)

We are excited to open registration for the spring 3on3 season! The action kicks off in early April and concludes with a group skills competition the first week of June.  Participants will receive game jerseys, player of the game awards (hats, mini sticks, t-shirts), and 18 action packed ice sessions of fun.  The 18 ice times will be divided into ten end-to-end one-hour games and eight 1.25-hour sessions that are a combination of skills development with instruction and more 3on3 game play. Most ice times are scheduled for Friday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s with the odd mid-week game mixed in. All games are scheduled for Terwillegar, Kinsmen, Confederation or Callingwood Arena locations.

Friend or team requests are welcome and teams will be formed to balance out the level of player ability so that we are able to line match players during the games.

Referees/Instructors give a quick 5-minute warm up for each team and then run 50 minutes of game play.  Games will conclude with a 5-minute shoot out competition and any penalties assessed during the game will also result in a penalty shot.

3on3 game play is an excellent use of ice time to encourage development of the core hockey skills.  Regular game play is condensed so that each skater is playing a more active role on the ice with more skating, puck handling, passing and defending. I believe that all players of every skill level benefit heavily from 3on3 play and it’s a great change of pace after the regular winter season. Please note that the games are non-contact based.

The cost of registration for skaters is $495 plus GST

The cost of registration for goalies is an option of either $25 plus GST (no specialized goalie training) or $275 plus GST (includes 8 skills sessions with specialized goalie instruction by a member of Ian Gordon Goaltending) ***Registration is currently closed for this camp.  Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. If you have any questions regarding the program, please email me. I am flexible on allowing siblings to play together out of age group as well as friend requests that are out of age group provided that the skaters are capable of playing at that level.
